Clinical study data highlighting the effectiveness of Fanghi D’Alga GUAM® Mud when used regularly
The purpose of the clinical study conducted by the School of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Science department of Institute of Pharmacology at The University of Pavia (Italy) was to evaluate the cosmetic power of the aforementioned GUAM® mud products and their effect on the appearence of cellulite.
The subjects in the trial were women aged 18 to 45, who were in good general health and used the products daily following the recommended conditions of use. The clinical test was conducted against the use of placebo products and photos were taken with a polarized light telecamera to analyze the skin after each treatment. GUAM® products were applied to the thigh and buttock areas of the body. The test subjects’ skin was observed for a period of time that spanned 90 days. The parameters studied were:
The University concluded that the products tested significantly changed the appearance of cellulite on the subjects tested. All parameters observed had improved during the period considered and for this reason the products were shown to have a cosmetic power against the appearance of cellulite from a scientific point of view.

The GUAM® products tested on participants were able to significantly assist in the reduction of the appearance of cellulite on skin.
